Video production proposals

Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone could please help steer me in the right direction. I have never solicited any type of nonprofit business, and was recently contacted about doing a video for a school and was asked to submit a proposal. Does anyone have a link to sample proposals that videographers use to help aid them when having to do this type of stuff? thank you for your help in advance.

Google...you'll find dozens of templates. (Even search images of proposals.)

I usually create my own based on the client.

Start with the basics like your company information, their company information (school name/address), the person's name/title you're dealing with - usually with (ATTENTION: John Doe, Company Name, Human Resources Director), dates, location(s), etc.

Then start adding other bits and pieces:

- An objective/short description/introduction
- Project goals
- A breakdown of your services
- A breakdown of what the final product will entail
- Equipment list
- A separate section discussing post-production (if applicable)
- Payment terms

ETC. Anything and everything they ask for or you would like to share.

The more information, the better. Detail-orientation is highly attractive.

If I personally don't receive any direction then I include as much information as possible. I am very clear and concise. And of course have beautiful formatting to impress.

Each proposal I create is different and I include a note (in the e-mail) that we can add/edit information as communication progresses.

And make sure spelling and grammar is correct!
