Video & Photos - output question

I have found that when I have video and photos in the timeline, the photos have highlights in some areas that glow alittle when there is movement. If I output just the photos with the jpg2000 they look great but if its just in mpg2 they still have those areas. Is there anything else I need to know about using photos with videos. Do the photos need different settings? Let me know what you think. Thanks

It's interlacing, I'd bet. Try a little blur filter to soften it a bit.

Good luck,

I just edited a company promo where I added 3 shots from digital photographs along with video that is. They were quick edits but they came out GOOD!!! The cars were custom lowriders with wild paint jobs which made the shot look that much better.

Re: Video & Photos - output question

If you're talking about some of the fine detail in the photos doing the jitters, I have solved that problem by bringing them into photoshop and changing the image size to around one mega pixel and the jitters are eliminated. Seems the higher mega pixel images with fine detail (like a shirt with really thin vertical stripes) have that jitter problem.

If this is not the problem you are having then I have failed as a human. I'm going back to being a tree or something.
