Video not matching audio?

Using Pro 5.5...All files came from mac and are .mov. I converted to .wmv and tried also .avi for my pc. I can watch the footage in media player and no problem, but when I plug it into Pro the audio does not match video. It was shot on canon 5D Mk11. 1080p - 30fps. Any suggestions?

I think you are mixing up your formats.

First off, Premiere Pro on PC can play .MOVs just fine.

Second you want to convert 5D footage regardless of what system you edit on because it's compressed. Use Adobe Media Encoder to transcode it to something you can edit with such as Avid DNxHD. http://www.avid.com/US/industries/workflow/DNxHD-Codec

You don't need to convert anything. Just use the original media.

However, you may want to change the extension from .mov to .mpg. This can help with performance in CS 5.5. You can use Bridge to batch rename all the clips.
