Video Not in Safe Area?

Ripping my first DVD... heh..

Got $8000 in equipment and years later just now getting around to making a DVD...

Well, see, ripping it and putting it on a normal TV, edges are cut off. Back in vegas, see the safe mode lines... not good...

So, is there anyway in dvd architect to make it downsize itself to fit to the safe areas? Or what?

Is this a TV specific problem? Am I just a dumbass noob?

Help!:dankk2:

TVs are designed with the overscan/cropping in mind. You should shoot and make sure important picture elements stay outside that overscan area.

You can't change the video size in DVD Architect, but you can do it in Vegas with Pan/Crop or track motion.

Keep in mind, though, that on a computer screen and on some TVs, the image will have a black box around it.
