How hands on did you get with the Super Speed CP.2s? Are they soft wide open? I'm assuming that's what they mean by an atmospheric look and good for portraits.

We didn't really have much time to get hands on with the 35mm. We were trying to cram as many booth visits into a limited amount of time. But based on what I've heard, I'd say your best bet is going to be finding one to rent or demo before committing to a purchase.
