Video Innovators???

Calling all cars!!

Has anyone ever used the video innovators shoulder mount for the DVX100A?

They are selling one called the S-800 Super Pro Shoulder Mount #125 on their site (featured product,$116). I emailed them, but I wanted to ask around to make sure that the DVX would mount without the LCD being too close to my face to focus. I hate using the eyepiece.

I've been able to borrow a high end shoulder brace from our camera rental company here, and I'm addicted, but I'm also not in the market for a $300-$400+ version (the one I used goes for $1500). I feel it really lets me move the camera in a more traditionally filmic way.

I don't know about the one you're talking about. And the website doesn't seem to work for some reason. I've heard some good things about this one.

Have you considered the DVrig Pro?

I've used their shoulder mount. It was not that great. Really uncomfortable to put on the shoulder, and it kept slipping off. A nice thing about it though, the legnth is adjustable, as is the handle position. I wouldnt recomend it though.
