Video in Speedgrade playing slow??

Why is video played in Adobe Speedgrade uneven and slow?? The sound is also choppy. I exported 2different sequences into speedgrade and got the same result. I imported acineform hd file into premiere (14 gigs). There is no preset sequence that exactlymatches that cineform file, but I imported that file then chose the"change the sequence setting to match clip" option. Or is that not ok?Should be ok because that file played great in Premiere 6. Then I exported that file to Speedgrade.Once in Speedgrade the video played a bit normal but mostly slow and sound was choppy. Why??The same happened with .mov video from my Canon 5D mark 2. My hardware ; AMD Phenom II X 4 Processor 3.2 GHz, 8 Gigs RAM, 64 bit Microsoft Home Premium. Is it a hardware issue? Are there adjustments I need to make on the Speedgrade options?

Speedgrade relies on GPU for processing and on CPU for rendering out. A good GPU card would help a lot. Alternatively, you could work in SG at 1/2 or 1/4 resolution during playback.
However, if you sent your sequence to SG via Premiere, then you're dealing with DPX files automatically created by Premiere. These files are huge, thus make sure you have fast HDDs in raid configuration. That may be the bottleneck.
