Video in Reverse (Premiere 6.5)

When playing video in reverse (using the -100% video speed setting), do you have to adjust field order or some sort of interlacing setting somewhere in Premiere 6.5. I ask because my reversed footage kind of stutters or strobes. If yes, where do I make these adjustments so that my backwards footage looks as smooth as the regular footage after it's rendered?

I have always used the flicker removal command. Select your clip with your pick tool. Select the Clip menu from your top menu bar. Go down to Video Options, then select Field Options. This will bring up a small window with several pick box choices. There you can apply flicker removal to the clip. This of coures does what it says and has always worked for me.
