Video host options for client videos

[bellbottomtear]

I am producing video content for companies and posting these videos to their website and I wanted to see how others do this for their clients?

Do you use a free video site (youtube) or what other free or cheap options are there?

I am a huge fan of Vimeo but it clearly is not a site to host a video about a corporation under a corporation name. I can as a producer use Vimeo to showcase my corporate clients videos but I want the ability to have the client to have a clean video play simply on their website or embed anywhere they want it.

I came across a flash video player called the JWPlayer but you then pay to host your video on a site like www.bitsontherun.com and I am not wanting to build HTML code.

Some clients I just provide them the compressed video and their web designer or IT guy takes care of it (typically a self built player and video hosting solution that they already have) but I am looking for a solution for the small business guy that I can build video for and give him a easy solution to have video on his site. I know I can embed a youtube clip but I want a quality video player without all the ads.

What do you do for your clients?

Thanks,
Jared

At the moment, we're designing a custom one for an upcoming site. If you don't want or can't do that then I have seen a lot of corporate sites using YouTube. You can't actually use JWPlayer without a license which will set you back €49, but it's a good player which isn't too difficult to customise and modify if you've done HTML before, which the creator of your website should have!

If you'd just like a third party site like YouTube to host you video, then this site I just found compares fifteen such services.

vimeo is yer buddy.
If you watch the clips on my site, all but one are hosted on vimeo and simply embedded on my site. I used youtube for one clip because vimeo feared copyright woes.
