Video head for Gitzo sticks

I have a set of Gitzo sticks I use for travel photography that I want to have a video head for as well. Mainly, I would do some basic pan and tilt with a DSLR sized camera and a decent sized lens (70-200). It would also be popped onto a slider setup at some point.

I have thought about the 502HD, but no one seems to love it. Is there anything else that would work in this configuration under $500? The sticks are rated for 40 lbs.

Benro S6 or S8 heads, not going to be the same quality as the Manfrotto, but still serviceable. I have an S6 head on my Benro tripod, it's decent enough for me right now but the S8 would be better if I had wanted to spend the money.

Were you able to find a head? If not, I have a Sachtler Video 14 fluid head, and a 75mm bowl adapter for Gitzo that I plan on listing soon.
