Video Capturing

I'm having trouble capturing video in fcp with my hvx. I'm using a pc and it let's me control the camera from fcp but what the camera is actually displaying doesn't show up in fcp. I just get a black screen. I can't find a thread that helps me so if you guys could redirect me somewhere or give me some advice or some recomended settings that'd be great.
 
nevermind I can capture stuff now but i still can't monitor what i'm capturing from fps and i can't figure out how to capture in 60fps ughhh
