VIDEO: Birger Engineering Canon Mount

I was told end of May at their booth.

It was disappointing that they did not have a real, working prototype on the AF100 at their booth.

Are we not witnessing a revolution here. The same the DSLR made for affordable film-making cameras. With a set of Nikon/Canon zoom plus this be about the same as much much higher price cine lens (It also applies to a set of Primes). In Nikon range you have the 17-35, 24-70 (which are par focal) add a 70 200 and you have a set covering 99% of use. Most of the times people have been saying that the mechanics are what differentiate the Cine vs Photo lens because in terms of image quality the photographic lens hold there own (Some would say they are even better because they are covering 35 mm photo size, about twice the size of s 35 and resolving much higer resolution). Eliminating the mechanics (very smooth zoom with the birger) would make everything more even.
