Hello everyone,
I recently built a new machine and upgraded from vegas 6 to 7. The old machine was a P4, and the new machine is a core 2 quad. Everything seems fairly normal except for capturing footage. Vidcap was always pretty laggy on my old machine and there were issues with sound falling behind the video when previewing. I never had any problems with it actually falling out of sync when capturing so I just dealt with it After all, it was at least stable and consistently laggy and slow.
Unfortunately on the new machine vidcap is even slower and sometimes stops working all together forcing me to restart it. Once I quit out of it or minimize it the computer returns to normal. Could this be a hardware problem or conflict? Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks,
Eric.
