Veydra Mini Primes Warehouse Robbed of 200 Lenses

I was hopeing to get more impressions from the internet on these babies. I'm really about to pull the trigger, but was hoping to hear from people who own an fs700 or fs7 or something other than (primarily) stills camera's

I had a set for a promo shoot on the SF7 and they worked great.

Picked up a full set (12mm thru 50mm) of Veydras when they first came out. Subsequently switched 25mm, 35mm, & 50mm, to E-Mount for use on the FS7.

Suggest testing before purchasing, especially in backlight, as they can to be susceptibility to veiling flare.

It might be an idea to suggest to the folks at Veydra that they forward or publish a list of serial numbers of the stolen lenses. I would imagine they would be in a sequence but in anycase it would be easy for people to check before they buy. I would imagine that it is unlikely these will be disposed of in the USA so for us foliks in Canada and Europe, Australia, NZ, Japan etc. I doubt that ebay will be were they will go but Kijiji or Craigslist or??
Just a thought..

Do you roll with the Veydra's as your go-to's?
I'm looking at them seriously - they seem to be at a decent price, look agile for swapping out quickly and seem like a big step up from something like rokinon's. Zoom's I was looking at Tokina's but they left me feeling iffy, plus they are missing mid-range focal lengths and the Sigma's look great, but are expensive and outside of the 18-35 - I keep reading about lots of breathing, even in the 50mm prime! So I'm really debating between these and an old cooke zoom as stupid as that sounds
