Very wierd question for PC guys

I have absolutely no idea why, but for the past several weeks my cable modem and router would crap out when i visit certain ebay pages (I think ones that run a cgi script). This is so wierd because it happens to my girlfriends computer too...
I ran updates on each, virus checked, adawared, everything. I have no idea where to begin. Anyone else have this problem. I cant find anything on the net!

Well not having more info on the page, as well as what ISP, DSL connection you have. This is what I can offer.
Yes - This could be your computer. ie "CGI" scripting.
Yes- Definitly could be a virus. Question. Is it just this page or after you run many page's Ebay or not. I know your ISP will just you down if a your compter keeps pinging, alot of different ports. This is to keep other virus's from populating.
There are alot of viruses that do this. Check your update on the virus signiture.
Good way to troubleshoot is is try more than one computer for the same page. More than you and your girlfeinds.
The blaster32 comes to mind on this one..

What OS do you run?

i just updated firmware in all my hardware and i think something helped because i cant reproduce the error. I used to be able to in about 2 minutes on ebay... oh well, Thanks Bryster ;D
