Very rare film (still) SLR camera

[David W. Richardson]

Is anyone here by chance an expert on rare 35mm (still) SLR film cameras? Trying to determine the value of a rather unique piece.

I've found some info on the camera....

Very cool piece - though not particularly useful for obvious reasons!

Now all you need to do is find the see through lens to go along with it.

Well there was one on eBay, in the 'Sold' listings, that had a lens. The lens wasn't see-through though. That is, you could see through it like any other lens, but it wasn't made of transparent materials like the camera. Can't find that listing today.

There was one -- body only -- in "Ex++" condition, in Japan, that was on a "Buy It Now" for $494.99 on eBay, but it didn't sell. I would have thought the value would be higher.
