I dont even know how I got myself into this.
I have a job the next 2 days using a Panasonic sdx900 (im a soundguy)
The client thought she could capture herself at the end of each night but
turns out she doesnt have the right system.
(im not operating, im not doing anything video related..but somehow this
just got thrown on me very last min because "i know computers")
They rented a DVCPRO 50 deck as well.
We were planning on shooting DVCPRO50
but hooking up everything I cant get 50 to read (black screen)
25 works fine. We hate to change it to dvcpro 25 but at this point
since I cant get 50 to work im going to have to suggest that.
I Have Vegas and I also have Premiere
I tried both with no success. Any solution to that? or are they just
not capable?
Also, regarding capture will the quality be the same in each of those
programs or is there different codecs and one would look better than the other?
Is avi the only format to save to? is that the best choice?
Once I capture the files Im handing it back to them.
Thanks guys.
