Now that I have a beachtek if I run across an FX1 I can use it. But this is my question. For the first time I played around in Cinema tools. I have a version of "Wages of Sin" that had interlace lines in it. The DVD doesn't have this and the iPod file doesn't have it so I wondered why this version did.
I shot it at 24p (basic not 24 advanced) so I was confused as to why I-lines were on this version (mainly during the martial arts scenes). So I did a 24p conform in Cinema Tools and the problem was solved in about 20 minutes. And I can toss the file on a DVD or have it downloaded from the web.
Now, my question is if shoot on a Sony FX1 (or any older DV or 1080i HDV camera) and simply did a 24p conform any idea how that would look? I could shoot in 50i and conform from there. I simply love the look of the FX1, I won't lie. I don't like Sony but that camera has been something I've wanted for awhile. What do you guys think? Has anyone tried this?
