I see how a small ball head could be a good solution for mounting a camcorder upright on a slider for horizontal sliding but am confused about how to mount for vertical sliding? I figure the ball head has to be tilted 90 degrees to bring the camera to an upright position - would this not bring the camera smack into collision with the slider?
Am thinking solution may be an L-shaped bracket so the camcorder can be side-mounted on a small ball head for vertical sliding. Not sure how this would effect balance and stability.
