I sware this is aggivating. LOL. Ok im trying to get a personal copy of vegas installed on the work machine to use it here and show the boss people its something we should also buy here BUT... the editors cant go online and the first time I tried installed it, it said that it needed .NET framework, well I found that on a NET PC and thumbdrived that hoe to the editor. Now its needing Direct X 9.0c and I throught I found it but the only versions I can find are small EXE's that actually use the net to download the real installation. I cant seem to find a copy that works. Can someone help? Im actually dling SP2 for XP right now onto my thumbdrive to update that computer because its still at SP1. Hopefully that works but I dont even know if they will let me put SP2. Anyone know where I can get Direct X9.0c the FULL install?

Never seen a physically distributed copy of DirectX 9 (or .NET, for that matter).

MS probably has a CD set that you can order (pay just shipping and handling). Or your IT section might even have something already in one of the Select packages.

Ah thanks. You guys rule I sware. I was on that page but didn't read the fine print at the bottom with the redist part. Thats cool as hell. We have a Windows Network here at the base. The Editors aren't allowed on the network and the IT person is one of those "I KNOW IM SMARTER" ladies thats really old and I can smoke her on networking. LOL
