Vegas/Window7/imac

I'm having to upgrade my computer and needed to get some information on which direction I should go.

I have an HP Laptop with 64bit Vista (this is what I been editing on) and I also have the Prowbook G4.

Question 1:
I have Vegas Pro 8.0a
I have Raylight

Does anyone know if both Vegas and Raylight will work on the new Window 7 that is coming out on Thursday?

Question 2:
I was looking at the new iMac which can have both Mac and Windows installed. I was wondering if I should get the iMac and have Windows 7 downloaded on it or should I have Vista downloaded on it.

Question 3:
Also I was looking at Dell which has 8GB Ram and 1TGB of hard drive with Windows 7.

What do you guys think?

1) Unknown, though I suspect they would.

2) I don't think they come pre-loaded. You have to get Bootcamp and install it yourself.

3) That Dell will probably smoke an iMac, especially for the same price. But it depends on whether or not you want the Mac OS -- i.e., you plan to use software that's Mac-only. If it's not much of a consideration, don't bother with it.
