Vegas VS Sound Forge

I know that there are some audio filters that interpret the audio in Vegas. This is a problem, as I like to edit a lot of the sound in Sound Forge. However, once I bring it back into Vegas, it peaks or just generally doesn't sound the same.


Thoughts?
 
I did that already. Doesn't seem to have an effect. I thought perhaps it was in the preferences section, but I can't find anything.

Is the audio output set to the same device in Vegas and Sound Forge? For instance, one might be set to "Classic Wave Driver" and the other to "Microsoft Sound Mapper". Something like that could give you two different sound qualities.
