A lot of people refer between the these two all the time but I would like to know what fellow DVX'ers had to say about it! Just for the sake of a good post to help those (including myself) interested in one or the other apps. So please If anyone would like to contribute any helpful comparison specs, please do. Those that don't know please take notes (including myself)

I'm a Vegas fan, but I also only have a PC, so for me Mac's not an option. I feel pretty adept at editing, and am completely self taught with Vegas ... something I'm not sure I could have done on other programs.

or
Vegas v Avid

would be more appropriate.
 
Wow, yeah dude, great graphics! haha! THat's awesome... I'm an Avid guy myself... but I'd go to Vegas if I had to choose between these two... I'd speak to David Jimerson about Sony Vegas... he's a wealth of knowledge.

Yeah I agree they are on two separate systems, but I didn't want to say MAC VS PC EDITING APPS! then this thing would last forever:) (which may be cool for super post) but I just more so wanted to see if any one person/s have had experience with the two. I'm a PC guy myself, but I'm versatile. But I haven't touched a mac in about 6 years,(planning on getting a MAC soon)

And now with so many people saying final cuts better...I had to make sure for myself & others because VEGAS kicks AZZ (for what you need it to do.+ even on some of my slower systems the video editing and preview is pretty close to realtime)

So I'm sure we've all been hearing Vegas has this and Final Cut has that, I would like to see it all in one place :Drogar-Mark-07(DBG).

So If you are a guru at the two, please share. With a site like this I'm sure we have more than a few geniuses strolling through.:Drogar-SunGlass(DBG:thumbup:
 
I consider it a dangerous question. I choose Vegas, though I have no problem with FCP. It depends on how you roll.

I couldn't agree more. Final Cut rocks. So does Vegas. Enough said.
