Vegas Update 7c ?? 134 MB ??????

[plainman007]

Hell im surprised. I thought the patch for vegas would be small file that updates the orginal software. Ala Norton etc. But im bemused that the patch is 134 mb in size ? is that a patch or a replacement of the whole software ??

They always do a complete replacement with their updates.

Yep. Several advantages to that, not the least of which being that if you buy Vegas 7 right NOW, you only have to download one thing, not a bunch of patches.

what did the update include? AVCHD support maybe?

I wish it would change the media from dropping off line all the time, and I'm really having problems with 7 locking up, never had any of this trouble with 4. I expected for sony to make Vegas proprietary, but not unstable. Thought I'd give vegas one last shot before I switched to a new platform, don't know why I bothered.
