Hi, I have Vegas 4.0 and I am trying to convert some avi files I have to mpg so I can burn them to a DVD, the problem is when I load the avi file into Vegas it says it is unable to build the peaks for the audio. I have DivX, XviD and some other codecs that I got in the K-Lite codec pack. Also when I play the avi in Windows Media Player I get video and audio just like normal. Any idea on what I need to do to get vegas to load the audio?
Or alternatively is there a way to just burn avi files to DVD, so I can skip all the tedious converting?
Thank you!
