I've gone through the "posts" and "searched topics" with no success. I shot original video with DVX100A, captured it to my computer, edited it into a
74 minute video, everything was accomplished and completed. It played back
fine. I selected the finished video and marked it as a "loop region" in Vegas 8.0
and rendered it as MPEG2 using the DVD Architect template (no audio). Then I
went back and rendered the same exact file (loop region) as an audio AC3.
Both rendered using the same file name as required..... Before rendering, the
audio in Vegas sounded fine and looked OK on the time line. After rendering
the audio sounded fine.
I opened DVD Architect and imported the "Vegas rendered files", selected
"menu" type process, set chapter markers.... and both the video and audio
looked and sounded absolutely fine. I ran "prepare DVD" and then I "burned"
the DVD.
The menu and the video selections on the dvd work OK and the video plays OK... BUT the AUDIO is filled with loud static (white noise) and the voices and background music is barely audible.
I went back to Vegas and rendered another copy, with the same results. The audio (background music and voice overs) plays just fine.... all the way through the entire process until I burn the DVD... 7 attempts and 7 failures....
I double checked the "Prepare" process and the file is marked as AC3 audio
and says it "won;t be re-compressed"...
I've never had this kind of problem using earlier versions of Vegas and DVD Architect.... so I believe that I must not have set up the right Preferences
when I loaded DVD Architect 4.5 on my computer. I did read the "help" section
and checked the audio settings which is AC3. Everything is DVD Architect "seems" o be set OK (there are limited selections and options)....
Does anyone have a clue to what I am doing wrong?
