Vegas Studio 9 Platinum rendering question.

Hello Friends,

I finally got vegas studio 9 platinum working and I'm having problem with rendering.

When I go to render a project all I see is already set custom rendering options and it seems they are set at pretty low bit rate. When I checked the comparison chart before buying the vegas studio platinum 9, it did not mention anywhere about the final output different between vegas platinum and vegas pro.

Is it true that you can't render the final output to the best settings using vegas platinum vs vegas pro?

What rendering format should give me the best picture output?

I'm editing HD PAL footage(25p and 50p).

If it's for archival or share with another editor, use an intermediate codec, e.g. the freeware Lagarith.
