Vegas Question - 2 Clips @ Once

I have been right mouse clicking (thank god I don't have a mac) for the last hour trying to figure out how to overlay two clips on top of one another and have them both play.

I have not been able to identify a transperency level anywhere in Vegas, and this is just dumbfounding me.

Does anyone know if you can make your top track somewhat transparent so you can play two video tracks at once?

Mouse over the very top of the clip and your cursor will become a hand pointing. Click and drag that down to the desired level.

As always, there are many ways to do the same thing in Vegas -- another way is to go to the track's properties over on the left and look for the "level" slider; drag that down some and the track will become more and more transparent...

And I guess I never noticed that level thing for as long as I've been using vegas... Thought it had to do with audio. Now I feel like a moron

That's one of the things I love about Vegas. Controls are often "hidden" in the open. Once you figure it out, you don't have to think twice about it (because things aren't buried deep in menus).

Well, it does...if you're on an audio track.
You just couldn't resist the smart a$$ comment could you?

I would have made the same one if I was reading my post
