ok guys I am having big big problems with my editing, ok I use vegas 6 with raylight, just installed it, now I am draggin the hvx files into the timeline that raylight told me to make which is 1280 x 720 I am trying to make a commercial at 720 res using 24pn now as I am editing the audio goes away for good, why does that happen? then I have to start a new project all over again and its really pissing me off is 1280 x 720 even the right setting in the project properties? I am shot this using widescreen, someone show me some light please and then when I output to mpeg2 half of the people I send the file to say that they cant play the damn thing because it askes them for a special codec...... help please

1280x720 is a perfectly normal setting. Its what some call half HD (full HD being 1440x1080 or 1920x1080). The one in your project is called 720p. Its the standard used in some HDTV telecasts etc. But ive worked on those project resolutions before and never had a problem. But i dont work with HVX footage and i dont know about raylight either. Try with some different footage to try and figure out where the bug might be. Try putting someother footage onto your 720 timeline and see if the audio is going out of sync. That way ull be able to narrrow down to where the problem lies. Also try asking in the HVX forum some guys there might know also.
