Local Craigslist has a listing for Vegas Pro 12. I talked to the seller and he said it came bundled with a camera purchase that he bought back in April. He is using a Mac and this is a windows version. Says he can't use it. I don't even have a 64 bit windows system yet, that will be my next purchase. so has no use for it. Advertised for 200.00 but I sent a message and offered 100.00 and he accepted. A great deal but all I'm getting is a disc and the code. How much risk an I taking? It seams like a great deal but I'm handing over 100 bucks in good faith that it will work.
Thank you

You don't need the disc. You can just download it from Sony and use the serial number.

I believe all legit V12 serial numbers begin with 1TF, so you could at least check that.

I got it. David, you are right. Serial number did start with 1TF. Now I just need to pick up a used tower, probably use Windows 7.
