Somehow I got to edit my footage on vegas pro9 and I editied it and everything fine, But when I render it( the videos only like 1 minute and 30 second) it took like 1.5 hours to render then when I uploaded to vimeo it said uploading failed. So, could someone give me a step by step procedure on how to do it, becuause clearly I dont know how.
Also, what render setting will have the best video quality?

Rendering is not a one size fits all type of thing and I don't know what you are planning to do with your finished video, Upload it to Youtube?

Anyway, the easiest answer I can give is just use Sony AVC
Try the following setting:

Frame size (match your video, say 1920X1080)
Profile High
Entrophy CABAC
Field order None
Pixel aspect 1.0
Bit Rate 15,000,0000 (probably overkill, use 10,000,000 if size is an issue)
Audio AAC, match your source footage
Project Best

This is not the end all be all but it will yield good results pretty much 100% of the time. Let us know how it works out.

Yea that look horrible! What render settings did you use?

Also there are some settings in Vegas that can make a difference. Set the preview to Best (full), then toggle the following settings.

Under Project properties, field order, try NONE (progressive scan) then to upper and back to none. Wait a few seconds for the screen to update, see if you notice a difference.

The other setting to try is right click on your video clip, properties, then select Disable Resample (can sometimes make a huge difference in clips shot at 60 FPS.

Basically if your video preview doesn't look good on Best (full) with the video paused the finished video is also not going to look good.

I have no idea why the sound was muted, you need to give us more info on what settings you used.

Ok,so i went to re- edit it because i wanted to make it a quality edit and make it worth the money for the t2i and make the quality looks the way it should
so i re edited it and went to render as
I then went to custom and used these

Audio-mode: CBR
Format: Windows media Audio 9.2
Attributes: 192 kbps, 48 kHz, stero (a/v) cbr
Video
Mode: CBR
Format: Windows medie video 9 screen
Image size:High definition( 1280x720_
Pixel aspect ratio: 1.000( square)
Frames 29.970( ntsc)
seconds per keyframe: 5
Video smoothness: 100
Save as type-
Windows MediaVideo V11 (*.wmv)
Then i get thiss error message
"An error occured while creating the media file: colchester oct. 7 re edit.wmv. The template it invalid.

Why is this!?!
