Vegas Pro 12 - Canon Flat Profile

Hi Guys,
I am a seasoned photographer and have been shooting underwater for a while, now using a Canon 5D MKII. I've started shooting a few bits of video now, hence I find myself here!!

I recently starting reading about Flat profiles, which seems to make a lot of sense for underwater videography in particular.

I have Vegas Pro 10 and noticed that 12 now supports the Sony S-Log Workflow....is this similar?

Can I use one of the many 'flat' profiles for the Canon and use Vegas 12 to sort things out for me?

S-Log is specifically for Sony cameras. However, it's very simple to just use the built in curves plug-in to get your video's contrast right. You can also create your own curve specifically for the flat profile and then save it to use again later.

12 (even 11) has a number of improvements over 9. It's got GPU acceleration now, and real-time playback for H.264. There are also a number of additional improvement over 9.

i finally made the jump after 9. 12 is really stable as compared to 10 or 11.
