Vegas Pro 12 and Sorenson Squeeze

Hello,

I have Vegas Pro 12 on a 64 bit Dell Workstation and I am trying to get footage into Sorenson Squeeze to make a 720p H.264 file for Vimeo.

The footage was shot with a Canon t3i and its 1080p/30 fps.

Here is what I previously tried:

I made an AVCHD .m2ts file in 1080p/29.97p loaded it in Sorenson and converted it to h.264/720p/2000 kbps... Unfortunately the H.264 video came out very blurry and with pixel issues.

Any other ideas? Is there a link to something I can possibly download to render the file from Vegas itself? I can't find Mp4 or H.264 anywhere on the Vegas Pro 12/64 bit version.

I appreciate any feedback.

Sony AVC and Mainconcept AVC renderers both produce mp4 h.264 files.
There is also Video4YouTube, which you can use to render to mp4 h.264 format (including 720p and w/o uploading to YouTube)

Just render an MP4 (using Sony AVC) from Vegas. That'll be fine for Vimeo. You don't need to use Squeeze.

MP4, AVC, and H.264 are all variations of each other.
