Vegas Pro 10.0a / Raylight Ultra 1.2.3 Stabilize Crash

Running Vegas Pro 10.0a and Raylight Ultra 1.2.3. Put a single DVCProHD P2 clip on the 1080i timeline, apply stabilization and Vegas crashes. Stabilization worked fine on same timeline stabilizing XDCAM Disc clips. Anyone else seeing this?

Yes,

Exact same result. And it is repeatable. I reported to Sony via the issue reporter dialogue window.

The image stabilize feature appears to write a new file in the same format as the original. Since P2 MXF files are read-only in Ultra, that's not possible yet. The workaround is select the clip, click Tools->Render to New Track, select a format like Sony MXF or uncompressed AVI, then after it renders use stabilize on the newly created clip.
 
Thanks much for the quick response! I take it by "it's not possible yet," that there may yet be a seamless solution? :)
