Vegas people at the DVX Bootcamp

Thank you David. We did enjoy and got a lot of little 'tid-bits' of information that will go a long way in helping us improve our productions.

Have you ever thought of having a DVX/Vegas Boot-Camp or 1 day class?

We would be interested.

Thanks again,

Robert

What would you like to see? 24p? DVDs? Greenscreen? Track motion? Surround-sound mix? General editing?

Glad you enjoyed!

Yes. All of the above.

We actually got a great tutorial from you yesterday on 24p. Almost more than we need to know. We got the slo-mo stuff. The other things that were mentioned would be great. Or...

I remember a few months ago, that you posted a tutorial in the 'Vegas' section. I really enjoyed that. What we're looking for is not the basics of Vegas, but how to do things with the DVX that work well in Vegas. All of the stuff that you mentioned above and maybe some low-light stuff. I spent some time with Jeremy (TheYankee) doing color correction in the forum, that was also educational.

I think what I like is to apply techniques to real world situations, similiar to what you guys did at the Boot-Camp. You know, something like, when you have a shot of a cloudy sky and the mountains in the background are too dark and you want to highlight the mountains, then you would...

Thanks again,

Robert

I would consider holding an all-day practical on Vegas if there's enough interest, and the logistics, location, etc., can be worked out. It would be a blast. Loads of fun.

Pretty much everything would apply to any camera, except the 24p stuff.
