Vegas output to DiVX.

Hello. I am very green(I have virtualy no clue what I'm doing) and would like to know what I need to know to take(what setting choices do I need to make in Vegas or other neccesary software) footage from camera to vegas to divx file of highest quality at around 700mb.

As this is my first post here after reading for months(I tried my best to prepare, but there's just so much info to take in) I will now express my enthusiasm. I have just made the ol' leap.

Go to :http://www.divx.com/
download from there , install.
Vegas, load/create project, when complited:
Select "Render As" from "File" menu, click on "custom" botton.
Select "Video" tab, from drop down box "video format" select Divix format(or other type that you would like).
You also can output as uncompress AVI file and using stand alone Dr.Divix program (download from same web site) to recompress in divix file. it very easy to follow prossec, but it will requer purchace vertion (it's worth it).
Or you can download free divix codex avalible widely on internet.
