Vegas-like Website Builder?

I've tried Frontpage and Dreamweaver, but -- to quote Bono -- still haven't found what I'm looking for.

Does anyone know if there's a website builder out there sporting the same sweetspot mix of power and ease-of-use found in Sony Vegas?

I hate 'em all. They put too much junk in the HTML.

HoTMetaL Pro was good, but no longer available.

EvrSoft First Page 2000 was good, and free, but has been replace by Frist Page 2006 which is sorta free (there's a Pro version they want you to buy).

I agree on that but that's the price for the user when using a design view and the program tries to create html code by what it thinks it is right. Have you tried to save a .doc from Word as HTML? There is a tag for each character... lol!

Either way behind the inteface of a web page there is code and wherever there is code there must be a person who can read it.

I do all image design in photoshop, convert it to html in in ImageReady...then bring those into dreamweaver and add the text in there. It may be a wierd way of doing it, but at least I know that I can have the images look the exact way I want.
