Vegas Layouts

Hey guys

Question about layouts in vegas. Is there anyway to set up the layout so that one moniter is just the timeline while the other moniter is the media pool ect ect..?

Sure. Grab the vertical row of dots in the upper left of any window and drag it over to the other monitor.

I know about that but then the windows sit overtop of the timeline. I'm thinking of FCP and Premier and how one moniter is all timeline and the other moniter has the media pool and such.

Shrink the timeline to fit on one monitor. Place the other windows in the other monitor, sized accordingly.

Sounds like you may want to change your graphic card settings, too. Have it treat the monitors as two separate montors instead of one big one.
