Vegas help. urgent

i need som help and info on vegas. iam running vegas 6. the project setting iam using is:
templet- HDV 720-25p
w1280
h720
filed order NONE
Pixel aspect ratio: 1,0000 square
frame rate 25PAL
Deinterlace methode: Blend fields.

then i put a bland white box on the timeline. then i render on this setting:
output type: DVD
w720
h576
frame rate 25
aspect ratio: 16:9 Display
field order Progressive only
video format PAL

when i render this i am getting black line i both sides left and right. it happen also when i put the jvc hd pro files in the vegas. is there anything iam doing worng ? shouldnt i get full WIDE white box ?? no cap in left and right side?.. please help me. urgent.

simple i can tell u.. i start new project and choste hdv720p25f, then i but a whitebox from mediacreater preste with 1*280/720, then i render with DVD wide PAL architect. then i result is black cap i both sides. so there is nothing with the files or anything. only the setting. if u can try the same settings and tell me if u getting those caps.

I did try it -- I tried it the way I said, and the way you said, and it rendered fine for me both ways. No black lines, or "pillarboxing," as it's called.

Where are seeing the black lines? On your TV when you play the DVD? In Windows Media Player?
 
if u play in mediaplayer u can se black line in sides. even in power dvd also. in the procjet setting what aspect ratio do u use? squar 1.0000?
 
Yes. Square pixels -- that's the default for the template.

Look at the solid color's properties -- is it 1280x720?
 
i took properties on solid colorthat is 1280x720
25.000fps
fieldorder NONE(pregressive scan)
pixel aspect 1,0000(squar)

in video event tab:
maintein aspect ration, reduce interlace flicker and
Smart resample is checked

are u sure u dont get the black sides?start media player htne full screen..then u will se.. or start power dvd player and check keep aspect rate.

what dvd rendering setting are u using?
 
but u see the black in both sides?
but it seems i found the problem!!!!! great discove..atleast for me.. i will test it and msg u back soon.!!! thanx..
 
they result was superv.. in the rendering setting.. i used 16:9 but thats worng. it should me squar!!!! then i get GOOD video.. thanx man. great help!!!
