Vegas Font Issue

So I'm doing a project where I want to have multiple text layers superimposed over video. Simple enough. The problem comes, though, when I want one of the layers to be really big - a size 350. It shows up and looks beautiful in preview mode, but once I flip it to best (or render), the whole font layer is completely absent.

I tried tooling around to see where the problem is coming from and apparently once it reaches a maximum size (100) then it will disappear on the render. Even if you make the font size small (50) and then try to use the scaling function in the Media Generator, it still disappears at the 100 equivalent. Any idea why this might be happening, and what I can do to stop it from doing such?

I'm running Vegas 7.0e on a new Windows based computer, working with a 1080i-24p timeline with Raylight MXF footage.

Basically, I want to have a giant font lightly in the background traveling right to left, letter by letter - sort of like the opening title crawl from THE TERMINATOR. Thus far though, my hopes have been.............terminated.

Any help would be appreciated!

Try zooming in on the smaller font.

(BTW, it's a 1080/24p timeline; can't have interlaced and progressive at the same time! :) )

You are a wise man, on both accounts. That works! I'm still wondering why using a large font simply does not work though. Is this something that happens to everyone or does my system loathe my existence?

Maybe it depends on the font. I just tried a few and it seemed to work just fine -- but I didn't try to render.
