Vegas Demo Rendering Question

Two problems that I am having is when I render as an AVI file, it plays fine in Quick Time, but in Windows Media Player 10 it appears to play little slower and the audio sounds like it is dragging with a lower pitch.

The 2nd problem I had was when I rendered as a Quicktime file and opened it up in Quicktime it strobed a lot.

Re: Vegas Demo Rendering Question

what render settings are you using? ie what template are you rendering to, and what codec are you using.

I am using the default settings of the Vegas Demo. I didn 't use a template or change the codec. I selected Render As -> Save as type -> Video for Windows (AVI) and Quicktime 6 in the 2nd instance.

Could be from demo it self or maybe your computer is not up to the task - specs on your system?

Well that answers my question ... So we know it's not the copmuter. So I think it's something from the demo version, Vegas trial will not let you render a clean file it will do things to the output. So I wouldn't worry about what you are seeing, just part of the demo.
I say I think because I haven't used a trial version in a long time - since Video Factory.

Re: Vegas Demo Rendering Question

Some versions of the vegas demo drop 30 frames every 5 seconds, others put their watermark that takes up about 15 percent of the frame... etc..
