I'm sure there's a way to get your serial number.

We don't encourage piracy here.

Well hence the "suggestions"....

thats a good idea. Do i submit the serial number in the downloadable trial version to make it legit?

[saturnin]

here is a suggestion....call home for your serial

You should be able to use the same serial number. Under the license agreement, you can install Vegas on up to three independent machines.

The trial version is the full version with certain things disabled. Entering your serial number will enable everything.

If you 'downloaded' the software.. you can actually retrieve your serial number "online" if you log into your account. (I can anywayz).

oh cool. Sounds good.

If all else fails just call up Sony and tell them your story, if they are how they say there are with customer service then they will be more than happy to hook you up to get everything working fine.
