Vegas' Audio CD Burning Feature

I was trying to burn an audio cd using vegas. Has anyone used this feature successfully. I couldnt. It kept rejecting and ruining one cd after the other. Is this something to do with the red book audio specs ? I drop the songs in thru nero and they burned in a blink. Then i read thru the help extensively. No answer there. Now i tried right clicking the ruler to set it to 'audio cd time' as stated in the help. But that option doesnt seem to be selectable. Its grey and as if deactivated. Any help ??
 
I've done it, and it worked, no problem.

First, under Tools, use "Lay Out Audio CD From Events." But first, you must have at least two seconds between each song on the timeline.

Then, go to Burn CD, and choose Disc at Once Audio CD.

Should work.

Tried just that. 2 secs or more was between tracks. And why is the ruler format not giving me the option of cd time ?
 
David > Tried as you suggested. Clicking "layout audio cd from events" helped and solved the problem. I was trying to manually put markers in etc and was royally messing up the layout i guess. Thats why the errors. I assume its a similar workflow for a VCD ? Thanks a ton.
