Is anybody running both vegas and premiere on the same pc win 2000 OS. If so can you capture from DVX ok frome either? If you are doing all this, are you also using matrox rt capture card? I ask cos this combination is givin me a headache to the highest order.
Vegas and Premiere both can use the same 24p file, both can read files captured in either app, although Vegas will struggle with files captured via the Matrox, since it's hardware assisted for Premiere. I'd recommend capturing in Vegas so you know the headers are right, and then editing in which ever app you'd prefer.
Both apps can exist on the same system with zero problems, as far as I know. I'm running both.
