Vegas and Livetype

I use Vegas primarily and I occasionally use Final Cut Pro just to appreciate Vegas more. Would there be any quality loss if I make my titles and credits in Livetype and export to uncompressed avi - and then take that avi file to Vegas?

If there is no quality loss, then I'm in post production heaven Best of both worlds, yah know?

Should work. You'll probably have to go into the clip properties and set the alpha channel, though.

David, thank you. Livetype works seamlessly with Vegas when exported this way:

From livetype, render as movie (output .mov quicktime, not avi).

Take that file to Vegas, add to top track and set compositing to add. The 2 combinations work the best after testing different settings, even when rendering DVX dv all the way to 1080p.
