What kind of HD?
HDV continues to receive loads of attention from Sony. We've cut XDCam HDV (native 1080i and proxy) direct from the Sony PDZ interface and it works as if Sony designed Vegas around it.
For DVCProHD, you'll need a secondary app. for MXF conversion. Creating templates for DVCProHD is a cinch in Vegas, but you do have to set it up manually the first time out.
