You could, but would you want to? That's the problem.I imagine we could use DVFilm Maker to unwrap it and use AVI or QT (gasp) in Vegas.

If I had a dual-core Athlon 6400+ whatever, then yes Raylight might be plenty enough. But my desktop is old and lame. I've also got Avid on my laptop, and that seems to be working fine, but I haven't devoted the necessary brain cells to understanding the avid workflow yet.
If I were undertaking a professional paying job with a deadline, which I am, I'd rather go with a proven working integrated end-to-end solution. That's why the Mac's on its way.
I still intend to get ahold of Edius Broadcast. My ultimate hope is that at NAB, when Vegas 7 is likely to be announced, they'll announce support. If they do, I may just have a Mac for sale on ebay. If they don't... well... I'll burn that bridge when I get to it!![]()

I hate changing, but I've started putting together an Avid system. Even if Sony comes out now and says they'll support the files, as far as I'm concerned the damage is done.
