I just spent countless hours trying to unf**** the same identical issues. Some success, some beyond the realm of patience.

I'll say again, the whole MAC proprietory gig is bad business. If they'd open up and become platform friendly, they'd be a lot better off and most likely would capture more of the market share.

The whole Niche thing is a joke.

Well said. There is no *free* way right now to get an intermediate file from FCP and getting it on a PC app. Unless someone sits down and at leasts ports the Lagarith code, you either have to pay big bucks to get one of the few crossover codecs, or you are in trouble. Even exporting as uncompressed doesn't seem to work. From the PC to the Mac, uncompressed works, but the other way around doesn't seem to (might be using a newer version of the .mov container, who knows)
