Vegas AAF or EDL to Final Cut?

Wondered if maybe there was any advice out there. I shot a bunch on two HVXs, then I was syncing the two in Vegas, out in the field. We all just moved onto Final Cut here at the office, so I figured all I'd have to do is export an AAF or EDL and there we'd be, ready to go. But Final Cut refuses to open either. It won't even look at an AAF and whenever I try to open an EDL, the program crashes. Any ideas? I'd really rather not have to sync all this stuff up again.

You can use FCP's multiclip function to sync them up really fast and easy. I don't think you can EDL multicam edits. But I could be wrong. Syncing clips in FCP's Multiclip fuction is super easy and fast. Especially if it's only two cams.

I ran into the same problem. There didn't seem to be a good solution, so
I ended up re-cutting my project.

YES it was a BIG pain the ass, BUT the footage was much cleaner than
exporting an uncompressed "master" clip from vegas & importing into FCP.
