Vegas 9d Problems

Immediately after updating to 9d, I attempted to load files onto my time line. Instead of starting my project, I received an error message. The message contained a link to Apple Quicktime, and stated that the file types I was using (avi & mp3) were not an acceptable codec for use with Vegas.

The same error came up after a fresh Windows XP install (I was planning to it anyway) with all required updates and no other software. Anybody else having problems with 9d?

No problems for me (so far).

Have you tried some old .avi and .mp3 files which you've successfully used in Vegas before? I.e. just to exclude the small possibility that there really is something odd about your files.
 
I have Vegas Pro 8c on my laptop and the time line accepted the same files, just like the 9c is doing right now on my desktop. The 9d build rejected everything even after a fresh install.
